Description:
A hardy herbaceous perennial, native to Japan and Korea forming a clump to 1.2m, with palmately lobed leaves and dark maroon stems bearing nodding, fleshy, narrowly bell-shaped pale-yellow flowers to 3.5cm in length in open panicles in late summer and autumn.
Site and Care:
Prefers moist well drained acid soil in partial shade to shade. Benefits from a winter mulch Propagation is by division in the spring.
